FER (Flight Engineering Rating) training

The well – designed FER course is aimed to train technical executive officers to become a flight engineer who will take responsibility in flights as a crew member. VNH Training provides training for MI-helicopters: MI-17 and MI-172.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

To register the training courses of VNH TRAINING, applicants shall meet the following requirements.

  • Minimum age:
    at least 18.
  • Health certificate:
    Valid, Type 2 and approved by CAAV-certified medical examiner.
  • Academic level::
    At least – High School Graduation degree and Aviation Technical School degree.
  • Languages:
    Bilingual (Vietnamese and/ or English) fluency competence, for English – at least TOEIC 450.
  • Experience:
    Accumulated as an aviation technical staff and  holding a  maintenance certificate on typical training helicopter issued by the Authority.
  • Personal identification papers and others:
    Passport, certification of police office or local authority and other related papers.

TRAINING PROGRAM

  • Theory Training:

    A 397-hour theory training course and a written test regulated by the CAAV’s representative or CAAV-assigned person.

  • Flight Training:

    At least 15 practical flights including crucial exercises in compliance to the requirement of CAA of Viet Nam and/ or other Authorities.

  • Health Certificate

    Written/ Oral mid-course, final examinations and checkrides are obligatory..
